Inspect the connection
Before use, check the hose, regulator, seal, and valve for damage or signs of wear.
Give gas room
Never use LPG in a sealed or poorly ventilated space. Keep air moving around the appliance.
Act on a smell
If you smell gas, avoid flames and electrical switches, close the valve if safe, and leave the area.
If you smell gas
Move calmly. Make the area safe.
- Turn off the cylinder valve if you can do so safely.
- Open doors and windows to ventilate.
- Do not light a match or operate electrical switches.
- Move outside and call Triple A Gas or emergency services.
